   Yes, Basic could do all kinds of things given the amount of memory it   
   needed. It was also a very good first step to learn programming.

   That would require Basic installed on one of my machines and I am not   
   going to do that, sri.

   Yes it does run DOS programs very nicely but a Basic interpreter wasn't   
   included and even though I do have PC-DOS installed on a partition I   
   haven't included Basic.
