   Maybe it is but I did install my original Warp 4 plus FixPak 12 last   
   year on another machine and it worked right away. Admittedly it wasn't   
   an up-to-date machine but I don't recall what processor it ran.

   You've walked the same path except that I continued upgrading but Warp 4   
   and FP12 has so far been the end station.

   Since the version I'm running what I want from it I have not considered   
   eCS because I too find it too pricey but it's the easiest way to install   
   OS/2 on newer hardware.
