   Howdy! Mark,

   I cheated a little bit.
The Directory I found the file in was the one that I used to store the
files that were on the SyQuest disks I copied from the 486 box a long
   time ago.

It was on a SyQuest disk where I copied the files in the486's C:\DOS
directory that had MS-DOS v5.0 and IBM PC-DOS v7.0 files in it.

   It was a PC-DOS v7.0 file called VIEW.EXE .

So it "wasn't out of the 'XP' box".

ml> i'll look and see if i have the code for the one i'm actually

   Thanks for the links Mark.
