|    Evil OS/2 Device Driver    |

Hi Ed!              Woke up this morning with the name of the evil weavel tool that allowed       Windows to mysteriously load even tons of bad files and so on into OS/2 boxes       that could be related to virus and malware stuff. It's the Netbios over OS/2       item. I still run on a very few systems under the older OS/2 version. However       the only way I've ever been able to keep roaring with OS/2 is to 'normally'       use OS/2 Warp 4.5 and all the latest Fixpack stuff through Fixpack 17. Plus       there are a lot of things that have to do with the CONFIG.SYS file which are       hugely dependant on where they are in the file because this and that has to be       run either before that and this! As well you also have to normally use at       least one 'blank line' at the end of the CONFIG.SYS file to solve some strange       error problems in some systems.              As well DOS operations under OS/2 cannot 'normally' handle more than a 2GB       file partition as far as I know under a lot of DOS stuff I still use.                     Mike Luther as N117C at 1:117/100              ---        * Origin: BV HUB CLL(979)696-3600 (1:117/100)    |
