   is that $55 a set or each? all of our APC UPS' have at least two batteries...   
   most of the time they are just taped together with double-sided foam tape with   
   a jumper across them... some are foam taped to a plastic connector piece but   
   they are still two or more physical batteries...   
      
   we've found it generally cheaper in the long run to just get a new UPS which   
   comes with a warranty because the prices for two or more batteries are so   
   close to the cost of a new unit of the same power... plus, the newer units are   
   generally also better in several ways than the one being replaced...
