   EV>See if Your speakers have a earphone jack.   
      
     As I told Holger, I got a pair of USB speakers at Office Depot (I had   
   a $20 gift certificate to make my final cost $1.79)...and it had a plug   
   for the earphone jack. So, the problem is fixed.
