   It happens, just depends on what adapter you're using.  My Adaptec 2940UWs   
   never did that IIRC.  I may have configured them to do so.   
      
   I am getting a DDS-4 external tape drive to put on the BBS, so one of my   
   2940UWs will pop into the Linux box. :D
