   SCSI was my favorite years ago.  Those drives are the best for random seeking   
   of data - which makes them perfect for servers.  I used them in my main server   
   many years ago, which used to house the BBS data.   
      
   I'm all SATA these days, except for my DL360 G6 server internal drives which   
   are SAS.
