Hi! Holger,              On 26/05/2015 9:07 AM, you wrote:               PQ>> Neat! I'm saving a copy of that. :) DOS printing was always        PQ>> problematic, till seeing your solution. The only Windows        HG> system I have is on my Lenovo but the newer one doesn't even have an LPT        HG> port.              I kind that of know the feeling. Both of the two Dell desktop PCs currently       used here don't have any COM ports! You do realize how frustrating that is       for a Fidonet sysop, don't you? Sort of like an Irishman in a room full of       shovels being told to 'take his pick'. ;)               HG> Neither does it have a diskette drive so I have to use an external one.        HG> In OS/2 files/programs are so much smaller that a such drive is handy.              Ah, yes. It is similar here. Only my old P90 (old Fido PC), that's been       gathering dust over the last four years, has a HDD (3.5" I think). Most, if       any, disk transfers are done with a USB stick now. Fortunately all of the old       machines (and new) are now VirtualBox versions of their old hardware selves,       and are networked through the Dells.              Cheers,       Paul.              --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/31.7.0        * Origin: Paul's Puppy 4.2.1 multiuser vBox - M'boro, Qld, OZ (3:640/1384)    |
