In a message dated 05-24-15, Paul Quinn said to Tom Walker:              Good morning Paul (here),               TW> Do a "Right Mouse" Click on the Printers Name        TW> Choose "Properties"        TW> Click on hte "Ports" tab        TW> Rembember the USB port name        TW> Click on "Enable Printer Pooling" and check the box        TW> Scroll through the listed ports and click on "LPT1" port        TW> Click on "Apply" and "Ok"              PQ> Neat! I'm saving a copy of that. :) DOS printing was always       PQ> problematic, till seeing your solution. Thank you.              I did it too. I may never need it but just in case. The only Windows       system I have is on my Lenovo but the newer one doesn't even have an LPT       port.              Neither does it have a diskette drive so I have to use an external one.       In OS/2 files/programs are so much smaller that a such drive is handy.              My older Lenovo has a plug-in diskette drive and DVD player.              Have a nice day,              Holger              ___        * MR/2 2.30 * There were computers in Biblical times.
