(Time to chime up, Ed?)              Howdy! Alan and Roger,              Sure!, I'll chime up.              Ever since Jeff Guerdat told me years ago (2006? 2007?) to change the       Built-In Admin Users Account that I had been using on this XP pc, to a       Limited Users Account because it would keep the baddies out, I did.              I had already made another Admin Users Account when I was talking to       HP support one day when the tech suggested I make it, so I didn't have       any trouble changing it.              I didn't want to make a New Limited Users Account to use because of all       of the settings in all of the programs I used in the Admin Account       would have to be (RE)entered in those programs when I used them in the       New Limited Users Account, and I'm a lazy guy and was still getting       use to XP and the differences it had compared to WIN3.1 and WIN9x       and DOS. (Pardon My Language)              Some Programs that I use I Right-Click on them and select RUNAS...       to use them, or they won't work from the Limited Account.       I don't mind doing it on XP and I've even adjusted to UAC asking me       if it is OK to Run a program on the Vista box.              I know I have to do it IT'S WAY or THE HIGHWAY! |
