HG>GM Daryl,

   Hi, Holger,

HG>Ham radio is a hobby because it's allowed to cost money to pursue it.

Plus, work is that dirty 4 letter word that one has to do to get money
to pursue things like new "toys".

HG>Well, it's up to you how you prioritize your time. Personally I am active
HG>on "the air" and only put in an hour or so into the BBS.

I think I spend 2 hours a day on the BBS...unless there are
thunderstorms in the area...then the BBS work "has to wait". The amount
of time I devote to the nightly nets is about 1 to 2 hours...sometimes
as much as 3, depending if I check into more than one net, and stay
   around for it.

On the BBS, I do the messages first (via QWK Packet), then I play
several of the doorgames. Some of them help to keep my mind sharp.

HG>I chose this housing on the grounds that I wwould be allowed antennas.

Unfortunately, I didn't have that luxury.
