Ed,              EV>The only option I 'HAD' used with my plain vanilla telephone service       EV>was Caller ID, and when I learned it didn't tell me who EVERYONE was       EV>that called my number I decided I could use the Ten Dollars USD better       EV>for something else.              EV>It's almost Plain Vanilla telephone service here except for DSL being       EV>added.               The thing is, I'd be getting calls at all hours of the day and       night...and I get those on the cellphone. Even if you put yourself in       the "Do Not Call" deal, you have to keep doing it every so often...it       unfortunately, is not a lifetime thing.               And, if you make a donation to one organization, political or       otherwise, they must have a global circulation list that goes       out...because "everybody and their brother" is going to call, mail, or       email you for money. It's just like giving "people food" to a begging       dog...if you give into them once, you've corrupted them forever.              Daryl              ---        þ OLX 1.53 þ Relax...it's all a matter of 1's and 0's.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               --- Virtual Advanced Ver 2 for DOS         * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS (1:19/33)    |
