DS>TW>After a several year delay o nupgrading m,y area to high Speed DSL they
DS>TW>finally did it and now i am getting annoying calls form AT&T as a
DS>TW>former customer to come back to their upgraded DSL

DS> I kept getting letters from AT&T, saying their DSL was available in my
DS>area, at a cheaper cost than Comcast Cable. Well, every time I checked,
DS>I found that AT&T DSL was NOT available in my area...yet they kept
   DS>sending me letters on such.

DS> I finally decided to stay with Comcast, and have gotten better service
DS>in the central Arkansas area with them...especially since their west
DS>Little Rock office is only a mile from my apartment. :) But, when AT&T
DS>calls, I tell them "it's your loss"...as "they kept dropping the ball,
DS>and basically lying to me". I don't even have a "vanilla" phone line
   DS>from them.

AT&T must have the Largest of Disatisfied customers list in the world.
They are notiorious for treating cistomers badly.
I do stil have a land line though as in a REAL emergenct it is the last
system to go down. The Cell Phone system in one of the first
because it is fully computerized and is programed so all except for
Emergency Responders can be locked out. Both Internet and Cable phone
service service are also easily disabled by large disasters.
