     I'm not sure...but it sounds suspicious.   
      
     You can go to the control panel, and click on the icon for "printers   
   and faxes". Remove the ones there, then click on the icon "Add New   
   Hardware". It should search it, and find the new printer.   
      
     That's my 2 cents worth shy of a wooden nickel on input. :P
