   I don't think you are. You don't seem to be running a bbs or fido-node, as you   
   post here from someone elses node number.   
      
   And you are probably not running servers that need to be accessed from the   
   outside internet, like a web server or ftp server...

   That's a smart thing to do if you are not familiar with network configuration   
   settings. If you mess it up you will have no connection at all, and then it   
   becomes "difficult" to search for help on the internet. ;)
