   Re: I'll be back.

In a message dated 02-11-15, Roger Nelson said to Holger Granholm:

   Hi Roger,

   HG> Right hip.

RN> adjusting the bookshelf adjacent to it, lost my balance and fell,
RN> landing with my right hip on one of my bowling balls. It was sitting
RN> on a circular stand with nothing over it. My hip hurt for a while,
RN> but the ball cracked in half and I estimqate my fall to be about 1
   RN> meter.

After the landing I was certain that something must have broken but
apparently being light weight nothing like that happened. I only had
pain in some muscles and ligaments.

While the fall happened dec. 19th everything seemed to heal up to new
years eve. But then after that I started to have pains from my lower
   back towards the left knee.

As this only seemed to get worse I went to our health center and after
three x-rays the doctor told me that he couldn't see anything broken and
sent me away with a recipe of strong pain killers.

Finally, some time later I had to call 991 to get me to the emergency
reception of the hospital. A new x-ray (1) was taken and the doctor told
me she could see a crack on the final spinal cord and a compression.

Got another recipe for pain killers that have really helped me a lot.
Even though not yet fully recovered things feel much better.

Now I can sit at the computer again for more than 3-5 minutes.
This reply has been written at one such sitting.

RN> my hip seems to be okay. How is yours now?

So far so good. Still it's painful to get out of the bed in the morning
but I'm again able to do "scandinavian walking" but only shorter trips.
The 10 km circuit has to wait some time.

   Regards,

   Holger
