   Howdy! Tom,

   Thanks for the info.

1/4 Mile shouldn't affect the performance of the Telsa, in a longer
race the Challenger probably would beat the socks off of the Telsa.

I don't know anything about car buying, and I don't read up on Autos.
   Thanks for the help though.

If I buy a van from an individual I think I will write down the VIN and
go home and check it out on CarFacts to see what info it has on it
before I would go back inquiring about it.

I've had neighbors tell me to get a foreign car, I've only owned one,
it was a 1969 Opel Kadette sold by Buick.

There are lots of local dealers selling foreign cars.

When I was in Japan while in the service I rode in a Datsun Taxi a few
times, and after I was discharged from the Navy Datsuns cars and trucks
started to be sold around here, now they are called Nissans.

I thought the Datsun seemed like a nice little car to ride in.

When I hear the word Nissan I think of the Japanese word for Japan,
   Nippon.
