I didn't do any farm type stuff those 7 years, I lived there because
it was close to the Lock and Dam that I worked at.
I could drive 3.5 Miles going to and from work instead of 32 Miles.

Glad to hear that You ain't bothered with allergies.

My QTH is across the Ohio River from a metropolitan area and when there
is a Temperature Inversion I get to experience "The Ohio Valley Crud"
as SMOG is known by in these parts.

HG> Todays youngsters ar very sensitive to all those allergy

I once was tested for allergies and the results were that I was
allergic to: Staph & Strep, House Dust and Inhalant Fungi which is
another name for moisture in the air.

I was still working at a Lock and Dam where there was lots of moisture
in the air, and on the night shift had to do house cleaning chores.
And then there were all those chemical barges that came through the
Lock, some of them had "interesting odors".

But I've been away from the job 18 years now but am still living here,
   near the river.
