   Yes horses can be small even as grown-ups and they may be Shetland or   
   Iceland ponies and even brewed in US or anywhere.

   While a child I was living each summer (3 months) on different locations   
   on the countryside fishing and harvesting hay and crops and caring about   
   cows, horses, sheep, Swines/pigs and whatever was raised on the host   
   farms.   
      
   That may also be a reason that I have never been hit by any allergical   
   reactions having been used to all kinds of dust from hay/crops, animals   
   and such.   
      
   Todays youngsters ar very sensitive to all those allergy causing things.
