   that reminds me of an event from my Navy time when i was serving in   
   the Submarine Service.   
   We did shadowing of russian submarines and to avoid being heard one   
   needed to stay very close. Perferably directly behind them.   
   that required a very agressive captian. One of the other subs gave the   
   Capting the nickname "Captian Tuna, Chicken of the Sea".   
      
   The sub I was on one time followed a Russian sub from the tip of   
   South America all the was across the pacific to Midway Island.   
   Because it was a new unique russian submarine it was given the NATO Name   
   of "Early Class", In honor of our Captain, Commander Early.   
   If one can find a "Janes Fighting Ships" from the 60's it should be in   
   there in the Russian Ship section
