In a message dated 11-01-14, Tom Walker said to Holger Granholm:              GM Tom,              TW> For many years I would make a solution of Baking Soda and Water to       TW> wash the battery terminals.       TW> That strong akaline solution counteracts the acid accumliation       TW> arround the battery terminals.              Yes and that same solution also washes away battery acid if you spill       it around the battery. Once I had to wash half the engine compartment       with that solution after a battery explosion.              The explosion was caused by the starter motor not disengaging after the       engine had started. I would have noticed that additional sound when the       starter was still on but I had loaned the car to my youngest daughter.              She wasn't used to drive that car and didn't notice anything odd.              CU L8ER,              Holger              ___        * MR/2 2.30 * It's not a bug, it's an undocumented feature!              --- PCBoard (R) v15.22 (OS/2) 2        * Origin: Coming to you from the Sunny Aland Islands.
