     I know Coca-Cola will remove acid from battery terminals...and devour   
   a piece of steak in a petri dish.   
      
     As for Vaseline, I saw a video on Facebook, where these people   
   "greased" the pole to the bird feeder tray that they had.   
      
     A ground squirrel was climbing up the pole, and stuffing his cheeks   
   with all the bird food. So, the people greased the pole, and the   
   squirrel was never able to get up to the feeding tray again...it was   
   hilarious watching him jump to the pole, then "slide right back down to   
   the ground". He likely was cussing under his breath!! :)
