     That may be for the D-Star radios. Two hams have been trying for   
   several months to get D-Star going in Arkansas...but they can't find a   
   place to put the repeater, and get DSL to get "on the gateway".   
      
   EV>Icom is good stuff but I've never owned any of their products.   
      
     The joke is that Icom stands for "I Can Only Monitor"...I guess for   
   those who own Kenwood or other rigs (hi hi).
