|    Karo syrup?    |
|    29 Oct 14 13:08:00    |
Hi all,              I read in a magazine about Karo syrup used to protect battery terminals       from corrosion.              My wondering mind now would like to know what Karo syrup is and how it       is produced or harvested.              Not that I think it now would be used for the above protection because       vented lead-acid batteries are not much used anymore but have been       substituted by the closed type of batteries.              I have never used any other protection for battery terminals than       vaseline and have had no problems with corrosion of them since 1960.              Regards,              Holger              ---        þ MR/2 2.30 þ I never spit in your drink, so why do you smoke in my air?        * Origin: Coming to you from the Sunny Aland Islands.
