   I don't want to have email on my cell phone, much less do I want/need a   
   smartphone.   
      
   My cellphone is sort of a emergency radio after the repeater activity   
   here has gone down to almost nothing. Previously I did carry a handie   
   talkie in a shirt pocket or on the belt but nowadays there's nobody to   
   rely on if you need help yourself or to somebody else.   
      
   My spare/free time is too valuable to me to be spoiled by continuously   
   being available.
