   Ed,

EV>I just checked the spelling and found out the correct way to spell the
EV>word is teetotaler, not as I wrote above.

Most kids nowadays wouldn't even get that far. Newspapers are written
on a third grade reading level (if even that). They can work with their
smartphones, and play athletics...but, when it comes to reading and
writing complete sentences, paragraphs, etc. they are at a complete
   loss.

In fact, several years ago, one of the "student athletes" at the
University Of Arkansas (Fayetteville) said that the coach (Nolan
Richardson, at the time) "recruited him to play basketball...NOT go to
class". And, at the time, the graduation percentage of student athletes
was at a damning ZERO percent!!

EV>Thanks for the info about Tea.
EV>I drink it occasionally, but prefer RC Cola and other softdrinks.

The classic Coca-Coca used to be my beverage of choice...but now, it's
Ginger Ale. Some of the Wendy's and Burger King restaurants have a deal
from Coca-Cola that allows a wide selection of soft drinks with it. One
of the McDonald's in the Little Rock area has the best tasting Coca-Cola
in town, IMO. But, I'm trying to avoid caffeine, if at all possible. I
never acquired a taste for coffee. A fellow BBS Sysop practically "lives
for Java"...and I don't mean the utility from Oracle.

EV>You mention Ginger Ale, Kroger sells Cherry Ginger All in packs of
   EV>Twelve 12 Ounce cans.

I never tried the cherry one...I'll have to look at that on Friday.
I'll be spending the weekend at my Mom's, as the yearly stripping and
waxing of my apartment floor takes place this weekend...then, we have
storms forecast the first half of next week. So, I'm going to be offline
for a bit (ham radio and otherwise) after Friday.

EV>Orange Cream Soda in the 12 can packs.

I love cream soda...and that orange cream soda sounds delicious!!

EV>A Doctor recently told me to drink fluids often through the day, and
EV>I said "Me and My RC!" to Him, and He grimmished and shook His head.

When the doctor told me I had to watch what I ate...and I said "I do!!
From the plate to the mouth!!"...he wasn't amused. :P

   EV>You're a better Ham than I am Gunga Dinn(sp?).

We tell examinees at the license exam sessions, who pass the tests
"Winner!! Winner!! Chicken Dinner!!"...and add "we don't like to say
''ham'' in that regard, as it makes us look cannibalistic"!! (hi hi).
