In a message dated 10-23-14, Holger Granholm said to Paul Quinn:              Good evening Paul,               HG> Cheerio, as they say in England,              PQ> I use it often on the phone here. That and the 'cheers'.       _____________              PS.              BTW, I came to think about cheers vs. cheerio.              Here in Europe the english talking are saying 'cheers' when they lift       their glas of vodka. In some cases also when they want to take a sip       of vine or even beer.              That may be the reason they don't use it as a farewell phrase.              Cheerio,              Holger              ---        þ MR/2 2.30 þ Sleep well; OS/2 is still awake!               * Origin: Coming to you from the Sunny Aland Islands.
