   At this point, I communicate more by email than by (voice) phone - a habit   
   that was made more solid when my voice gave out on me about 15 years ago.   
   While my voice is better now (maybe back to about 70%), I still prefer email.   
      
   A smartphone lets me always be reachable by email.
