In a message dated 10-18-14, Tom Walker said to Roger Nelson:              Hi Tom and All,              RN> EV> Do You remember the Function Keys were on the Left of the Keyboard       RN> EV> in two vertical rows of five keys each instead of at the top where       RN> EV> they are located now-a-days.              I remember having seen such a keyboard in the Ham clubs station room.              RN> RN> No. The keyboard I used at that time had the Function heys at       RN> RN> the top.              The keyboard I used with my AT 286 PC was the usual one today but sans       the WIN keys.              RN> EV> A relative used a keyboard that had those keys on the side on his       RN> EV> DOS 1.25 box.              I do have a smaller keyboard that probably stems from a luggable       computer. It has all the 12 function keys at the top but lacks the arrow       keys. Instead you have to push the Num Lock button to use the ones on       the numeric keypad. I did use that with this PC for a while placed on       partway open drawer.              CU AGN,              Holger              ---        þ MR/2 2.30 þ If you really want to know, you wouldn't ask me.        * Origin: Coming to you from the Sunny Aland Islands.
