I got interested in getting my Novice Amateur Radio License in 1956.
During that period I always saw the BAR over the AR characters in the
   A.R.R.L. study books I used.

I'm not trying to be too much trouble to You but I looked in my copy
of the 1976 ARRL The Radio Amateur's Handbook and the BAR was above
the AR , AS , KN and SK in the "Operating a station" section near the
   end of the book.

I looked at the ORR HB but didn't notice any mention of operating
   practices in it.

EV> us Hams use, even if I haven't sent one for many years.

EV> It is like swimming, if I was in the water I still could swim.

HG> Yeah, or biking. If you have ever learned to ride a bicycle it
HG> will stay with you for your entire life as long as your balance
    HG> mind works for you

I have to fess up, I tried riding my bike earlier this year and I
never could get the foot that was on the ground, up on the pedal and
see if I could balance myself.

I believe that proves that I'm Off Balanced, don't You think?
