Alan,              IIRC in February 1994 4MB RAM Modules sold for $135.00 USD.       That's $33.75 USD a MB.              I can't recall if that was the price before or after the Plastic       Factory in Japan that manufactured the plastic that memory IC's are       enclosed with was destroyed, which caused RAM prices to take a huge       leap upward in cost because the RAM Module supply became a limited       quantity for the retailers.              The RAM price and other computer electronic components now is tolerable       compared to the prices in 1994.              ... You're never a loser until you quit trying.       --- MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.49       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1)    |
