   Running OS/2 makes a floppy desirable since the files created very much   
   smaller than the same file created in Windows. There is no meta data   
   hidden in each file.   
      
   Also, the same programs as used in Windows are much more compact so you   
   can do with smaller HD's and you don't need so much RAM either.
