I have been using the FOXIT PDF Reader for some time now and liked it       until this last Update.              When I start FoxIt my software Firewall, Fort Knox, says FoxIt wants to       contact a amazon URL, I deny that one and another one shows up.              After I have denied a few of them to get past the Firewall I finally       will just drag the Firewall Popup over to the corner of the screen to       get it out of the way of what I was wanting to read, and I don't click       any more buttons, I just let it sit in its corner and move it if I want       to see what it is covering up.              I don't see the need for Amazon to know I am using the Free Foxit PDF       Reader.       I didn't go through Amazon to Buy it, I Updated/downloaded the Free       version directly from FoxIt's web site.              Long time ago I grabbed a free copy of Cool and Nitro but never used       them.       I looked at Nitro today and saw it was dated 2010, so I tried Cool and       learned I couldn't adjust how it starts up.              The Settings icon is renamed to Other Products and opens Firefox with a       advertisement to purchase a PRO version from them.              I was wanting to set it up so I didn't have to click a icon to see the       other pages in the PDF I was trying to read with it.              Are their any other Free PDF Readers than the three I've tried already?              ... It's not hard to meet expenses, they're everywhere.       --- MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.49       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1)    |
