I talked to a fellow who explained to me that the reason I didn't see       Internet Explorer (IE) getting out on the internet in Safe Mode With       Networking was that the word "Networking" referred to the original       kind of networking which was machine to machine.              I'm thinking it was called something like Token Ring networking,       or might even be called Daisy Chaining, I'm not sure but think       that is what he was talking about.              I remember seeing things like that mentioned in catalogs back in       the early 1980's when I started getting interested in computing.       I figured that was only used by large businesses that had many       computers connected together.              Am I close? Thanks for reading.              ... I am not trying to ignore you completely. Partially hmm.       --- MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.49       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1)    |
