|    Safe Mode    |

Last night I looked in my log file and saw I commented about using       Safe Mode (SM) With Networking in April and September of this year.       Sorry for the repetition.                            This morning while in the Limited Users Account I normally use,       I thought to use RunAs... and select the "Administrator" selection this       time instead of the other Admin acct I use a lot of times to have       programs run with Administrator priviledges.              When Internet Explorer opened it looked like a new installation of IE.       Same thing when I used RunAs... for Firefox.              So I set them both up the way I wanted them to be by changing IE's       Search Engine to the one I like, and I added NoScript and AdBlock Plus       to Firefox.              It is my thinking that it may be that I couldn't use IE or Firefox in       SM with Networking because they never have been set up in that account       since I got the XP SP3 Update installed years ago. ???              I appreciate everyone comments so far, Thanks!              Later today I will use the computer in SM with Networking and report       what I see.              Hopefully "I" figured out why I could use PING and TRACERT in a CMD       session but nothing happened when I tried using a Browser in the GUI.              ... A wok is what you throw at a wabbit.       --- MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.49       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1)    |
