HG> That must be a joke!
HG> When has M$ released something free?

EV> If MS ever released Mouse Support for EDLIN I don't think it would
   EV> be a free add-on.

EV> Which makes me wonder if MS has still included EDLIN and EDIT in W7
EV> and W8.x. amd if those programs will still be in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
   EV> in Ten.

Mouse support in EDLIN isn't desirable/necessary as it's a programming
editor. Both are included in XPp AFAIK and I use EDIT when I print out
texts that contain umlaut characters that I have made in OS/2. Edit is
the only Windows program that does print out those characters before
first converting them to Latin 1's character code.

EV> Another crazy thought of mine: does the X in XP mean TenP?

   Perhaps "ExPert"!

   EV> 73 ar

You could just as well write 73 + because that's the meaning of the
   code .-.-. that forms the characters 'a' and 'r', (.- .-.).
