   I tried the Yosemite previews in a second partition on my MacBook Air - but   
   found that when I was booted to it, I couldn't access my saved documents (et   
   al) in my main partition and didn't find anything earth-shaking enough to keep   
   it. I suppose I'll upgrade to it when it's released but don't really care much   
   - and dislike the new fonts (etc).   
      
   I tried installing the Win 10 preview into a new Parallels virtual machine (on   
   the Mac) - the install failed, claiming a lack of USB drivers; instead, I let   
   Windows Update update an existing Win7 virtual machine, which worked just   
   fine... though I haven't spent much time with it.   
      
   I've got an iPad (ver 3 - running iOS 8) but no iPhone. Instead, I'm using an   
   Android Galaxy Nexus phone (late 2011 hardware). That way I can keep tabs on   
   both iOS and Android and avoid being a dedicated fanboy of either platform.
