   I think he was being funny, implying that OS releases are just a beta test for   
   the NEXT release. The latest news being that MS is planning to release Win9 as   
   a free upgrade for anyone that has Win8.   
      
   Some people think this is because MS is making decent money on their app store,   
   so why not get more people using it to make up the difference.   
      
   Others feel that Win9 is an apology for Win8. Maybe?   
      
   I dunno, I'm still on 7.
