   In New Zealand our main telco (was called Telecom now called Spark) gave me   
   access to a website where I could put my residential address in and ask when   
   I could expect fibre outside my home.   
      
   That was two years ago and sometime by the middle of next year the trucks   
   should be rolling past my door - sigh :-)
