   Well, you do just that. Please remember that Windows has its roots in   
   DOS and whatever works in DOS will work in Windows too.

   That sounds plausible but if the BIOS supports booting from an external   
   drive it's worth trying. Then of course the operating system must first   
   be installed on that disk the same way you install it on any HD/Floppy.
