Mark,              I use USB Hubs that come with a external wall wart power supply instead       of the power supplied by the computer to the USB Hub.              I figure if I want to plug some USB device in a Hub I don't want the       Hub to have insufficient power to run that device.              As usual I try to learn as much as I can.              I consider myself knowlegable enough about Computer Stuff to be       considered dangerous.              I am glad Your Friend figured out a work around to use his DELL.       Computers do get aggrevating at times don't they?              ... I ruin my day when I've put the Left Sock on my Right Foot.       --- MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.49       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1)    |
