Tom,              Nope, any time I Hibernate or Shut Down the Windows XP computer, I wait       until I see its Power Light go out and the Num Lock LED on the Keyboard       also go out before pressing the Power Button on my UPS.              When turning this XP box off I also notice after the LED goes out on       the Keyboards Num Lock LED area I see the LED on the front of the WD       External Firewire HDD come On for a moment and then go Off.              Sometimes the LED on the WD HDD stays On after the Keyboard LED goes       Off, and I will go ahead and turn the UPS OfF because I know the drive       can't be doing anything with the Computer Off.              Or Can It???????????              ...
