   Glenn Miller was on a airplane that didn't arrive at the airport???iirc   
   Been a long time since I looked into wanting to know anything about   
   Him.   
      
   Our radio was set to a station that played Big Band Music and other   
   music that was like Big Band, and when I was young (1950+) that music   
   became part of my make up.   
      
   Also one of the downtown theatres had lots of movies starring Band   
   Leaders like: Gene Krupa, Lionel Hampton, Count Basie and others that   
   I still remember.   
   Other times they had Cowboy movies like The Drango Kid was in.   
      
   I can think of five down town Movie Theatres back then, but I went to   
   that one more than the others.
