   Tom,

   I wonder why?

An X-Box is just a motherboard fitted with parts and wires.

I could erase XP on this box and put Linux on it, what's the difference
   ain't Parts, Parts?

MS might have a higher price for their parts and very limited storage
size, (my Friend says he could get a bigger HDD for his X-Box and I
tell him he can get 3 times more HDD for less money.

IIRC MS allows up to a 32GB USB HDD, why not get a cheap 500GB HDD and
make some 32GB Logical Partitions on it and use the whole 500GB for
less than MS charges for their plug in 500GB HDD.
