While the 11" screen is not for folks with poor       eyesight, it's fine for mine (at least with glasses!), and the light-weight       and portability, perky performance (SSD and Core i5) and fast boot up (15       seconds) do all that I need.              I also have an Acer C720 Chromebook - a Haswell-generation Celeron processor       for good battery life, & near-instant bootup. Also 11" screen though lacking       the ultra light-weight and general fit and finish of the the MB Air - but I       got this (refurbished) for US$149, making it a lot of performance and value       for the price.              Both of these appeal to me far more than the $3400 Alienware.              --- Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:17.0) Gecko/20130620 Thunde        * Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0)    |
