(Licensed, so no need to fiddle with/remember keys)              Windows 7 Professional actually doesn't "come" with "XP Mode" installed. You        have to       download both MSVPC and the actual "XP Mode" virtual machine.               AO> Nice because it lets you open programs directly from the host OS        AO> without opening the Guest desktop. I use it to run Paradox 3.5 at my        AO> office, works great, can even print parallel to a networked printer.              It's been problematic for me using 64-bit Windows 7 Professional and Windows       7 Enterprise (I own legal copies of both). I rarely use that now since I       made the W7P install on this machine into a virtual machine for VMware using       a tool off of their site. I'm using Slackware 64 Linux 14.1 and am using       the latest VMware Player. W7P runs very nicely although I wish I had more       RAM to stick in this machine. 4GB just barely makes it when Windows fires       up since Windows expands like window foam in RAM. :)              For printing, I use CUPS and my wirelessly-connected HP Officejet 4630.        Gotta love those wireless printers. I do have a Panasonic KX-P2624       136-column, 24-pin dot matrix connected to this machine that I use to print       from with all of my systems, including the BBS. I've also a HP LaserJet       1320 connected to this machine but unfortunately, it's out of toner and I       can't justify getting anymore right now. :)              Later,       Sean                     ...
