   I kept the two 512MB Memory Cards that came in the HP XP box and put   
   two 1GB sticks in the other two slots after reading in here that a   
   32-bit OS couldn't use 4GB of RAM fully.   
      
   2 Memory Sticks are cheaper than 4 of them, and I didn't have to have   
   the original 2 512MB sticks collecting dust.
