   But OS/2 Warp 4 could easily be installed on that machine. The operating   
   system requires only 120 Mb including GUI. Then an upgrade to FP 12   
   (FixPak) will upgrade the os without requiring more HD space. There are   
   later upgrades (FP's) but I have not installed them because they will   
   require another file system.   
      
   Auxiliary programs like MMailDOS, OpenOffice, Th-bird, VLC Media player,   
   Adobe Reader, PrimoPDF, PMMail etc can be placed on another partition   
   and will nicely fit on the 2 Gb HD including a swap file. PMMail is the   
   only shareware pgm of the above but well worth the registration.   
      
   Everything can be installed on FAT partitions and DOS programs will work   
   very well under OS2-DOS. There's also a WIN-OS2 included but it's like   
   the old Windows v3.11.   
      
   The machine I'm writing this on is a 486DX2/80MHz with 16 Mb RAM.   
   This is at the moment the Fidonet BBS machine while I keep updating   
   another with hardware partly delivered by Paul.
