   I started with Red Hat also and have over the years worked through about   
   7 different distributions. NONE really worked for me. Always some   
   Glitch. My most frustrating time was getting a printer to work.   
   On my try with one distribution during the install it communicated with   
   the internet to catch upgrades but after the install I could not get it   
   to connect.
